Please Note: We DO accept paintings in all media, miniatures and sculptures. We do NOT accept giclee prints or embroidered work/textiles. This is to ensure as many works are hung as possible in the space available. We take a 20% commission on works sold.
Complete Your Entry Online
For a speedier Hand In, both non-members, as well as members, can complete their entries and pay fees online by either signing up if you have not signed up before, or logging in if you have already signed up. Please then click on Exhibition Entries above your name. See also the FAQs drop down page, which should help answer any other queries.
On Hand In Day there is a dedicated hand in point for all online entries, which helps to speed things up, and ease queueing.
By entering and paying online, members and non-members can print off their entry forms ready for a faster, easier hand-in process. Please print off and bring your entry forms, together with your receipt (add your Artist's CV if you like), and bring them with your art work to the Hand In Day, at the Digby Hall, Hound Street, Sherborne. Open from 10 am - 1pm, and from 2 pm to 4 pm. Please note, we shut promptly at 4 pm!
On Hand In Day there is a Submission Information Sheet which gives detailed instructions so that you can check that your work conforms to our specifications. In brief, these are:
- Cord, not wire, for pictures, and D-rings. Maximum 3
- Sculptures: maximum 3
- Labels: blue, attached to cord; also white labels stuck on the back of pictures/underside of sculptures. Include a contact number
- Mounted work - at least 75 x 60cm, wrapped in cellophane, maximum 3
